Follower Friday — Featuring Dina!

Hey all! We're doing something new in the New Year. We decided to show some love for our Followers by giving them a day. On random Fridays the Riders will feature a Follower. That Follower can introduce themselves to us all, post some pics, and blog about whatever. Have fun! Let's get to know one another!  (I know, that Follower pic is sorta dorky.  Working on it!)

Dina of the cute little butterfly avatar starts us off. Here's Dina...

Hi Everyone,

My name is Dina and I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I now have one daughter and 3 beautiful grandchildren that help to keep me busy. Due to a sad event in my family a few years ago, I started to read again and visiting authors blogs and sites like RWTTD to help keep my mind occupied. I used to love reading when I was younger, but life took over and I had no extra time, so now I am enjoying it again.

I love ice hockey and going to games with my 10 year old grandson. Reading and movies are my other passions. I enjoy all kinds of books and still not sure what I can say my totally favorite genre is, everytime I think I know for sure, I change my mind, lol. I have met alot of people from reading and posting on fun blogs and sites and have made some good friends that I hope to have for a long time to come.

Thank You,
Dina

Welcome, Dina! You fit in perfectly with the crew! Glad to see your butterfly flitting about in the comments every so often.
So how was your Holiday? Get any good presents? Make any resolutions that you haven't broken already?

Hi Dina!

Life is full of surprises, isn't it? For a number of complicated reasons our two granddaughters live with us. They're 4 and 6, and it's been quite an experience getting into the "early childhood" routine after all these years. They're beautiful, aren't they? But thank heaven we can grab some time for ourselves in a good book.

Thanks for riding with us--we love your company!

Hey Dina, so great to meet you. You don't look nearly old enough to be a grandmother. But it gives me hope to think I may someday have as much fun with my grandkids as I've had with my kids.

Thanks for blogging with us.

Hey, Dina! Milwaukee, eh? Loving this cold? LOL

It's fun to "meet" you! Were you at the WisRWA conference in Green Bay last May?

What a terrific idea! And hello Dina. I agree you don't look old enough to be a grandma. And I'm a Grammy too. My grandbaby is coming to visit tomorrow and I can't wait!

Isn't it wonderful how all these terrific authors give us to many books for escape from the realities of life? I discovered romance novels about 7 years ago and haven't looked back once.

What a unique idea to feature your followers. Hi Dina nice to meet you and I agree with whoever said you look too young to be a grandmother.

How fun! Good to meet ya Dina. We seem to have a lot in common, including a love of hockey:) Who is your favorite team? We are Coyotes fans being that we are from Az, but I grew up loving the Red Wings. Did you watch the Winter Classic yesterday? What a fun game to watch!

Hi everyone, I loved when Michele invited me to do this, what a great way to "meet" others, sorry I'm late though, my daughter's car broke down, so alot of running or driving around.

Thanks for the compliments, I hope to be able to "look" young for alitte while longer, lol.

I onlt got a few gifts, but they were perfect!! I did watch some of the game yesterday on tv, it had to be cold there in my home town Chicago, bbrrrr. I like the winter, just not all the snow and cold at once, lol. I follow the Nashville Predators, because our team is their farm team, so alot of guys end up there, it's great to see them grow.

I don't really make resolutions anymore, just to try not to let things get to me and try to smile more.

Can't wait to see others post about themselves.

Wow, so sorry I'm way late! Wasn't home all day Friday.

Dina, so cool to get to know more about you! Wisconsin? BRRR.... I don't like to be cold, but I do love snow. We always get stuck with that ice mess here in south arkansas.
