Fun Stuff Friday

We've nothing planned for today so I thought I'd put up a bunch of links to some fun stuff.  You know, those fun time-wasters that tell us SO much about ourselves.  [wink, wink]

The first one is totally me—the Shape Picture Test.  All you do is pick a shape.  Mine says, in part, I do not mind being alone for extended periods of time; I rarely become bored.  Oh yeah.

The Food Personality Test attracted me only because it involved cake. (Though I am a brownie.)

What Season are you?

How can you resist the How Sexy Are You quiz? I gotta admit, I only scored 'slightly sexy'. Hey! We can't be sexy all the time, now can we? A girl's gotta keep that mojo under wraps for when she really needs it. ;-)

This one is interesting. Are You a Psychic Vampire? Only one question per screen, but it goes quickly.

I couldn't resist the Nerd test. (Pick the first one in the upper left called The Nerd Test.) I've always thought geeks were cool and nerds drool. I ended up 'somewhat nerdy.' I'll take it.

Okay, those are just a few to waste your time. Anyone got any other links to fun stuff? Come on, it's Friday! Let's goof off!

Michele, your slightly sexy, somewhat nerdy Rider.

I couldn't resist the nerd quiz. I scored 13--not nerdy, but maybe not all that cool, either, LOL! Although I know a lot of nerds who wouldn't know the scientific elements!

I know, Kylie, what does that say about us that we can't resist a test to see if we are nerds? (And secretly hoping we score high!)

Arkansas Cyndi, I'd never been to the dogs site, though I check the cats daily. Best way to start the day!

An unrelated tidbit that will get your dander up, Michele. It did mine. I got an e-mail about the new organic garden at the White House that read in part: "Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) represents chemical companies that produce pesticides, and they are angry that - wait for it - Michelle Obama isn't using chemicals in her organic garden at the White House."

I did some googling and found the letter the lobbyist sent the first lady here: http://www.lavidalocavore.org/diary/1309/

Topic for a future blog post?

There are certainly two sides to the issue, but lobbying Ms Obama to use "crop protection products" to make their point? Hmmm. She's doing this project with a bunch of elementary school kids.

Kathy, I just read that letter about half an hour ago! It's just ridiculous that the greedy industrialists can't even leave a sweet little 'yard garden' alone. They have their hands in everything, as it is. Let the first lady have her garden!

They way they twist everything to their favor. That it's the 'storage methods' that make some foods unsafe to eat. Please. Unless you buy organic, every single bit of food out there has been tainted with some kind of chemical, either from the start with the seed and fertilizers, or later during processing. Ugg.

Yes, definately a future topic.

Bad Michele. Bad girl.

Got me lost in doggie pics and nerd quizzes for the better part of the morning! Yikes! I have work to do, girl!

I am APPALLED at the letter of Michelle Obama. Good grief!

Michele - your new book, Midnight Cravings...New shorts or a compilation of previously published Bites? (I have ALL the Bites!)

Christie - I am DYING for Dirty, Sexy Knitting.

THe Midnight Cravings antho is previously only electronically pubbed Bites. So if you have them all, then you got 'em already. They're going to do this more often. I think it's nice. If you don't read eBooks, you can wait for the print antho to come out.

Hi Michele!

I've only recently started with ebooks, but I have Midnight Cravings ordered in print and I hope to have it soon. The cover art is too tasty.
