Guess where we were?

Apparently the riders are in a "have adventures" phase of our lives. I have to admit I wasn't quite as "rough" as Lois, but we had one, just that same. That's the dh and I above, on a trip we just got back from. (In case anybody was wondering what happened to me.)

Let's see who can guess first . . . if you're guessing in the US, I need a state. Outside the US, a country will do.

I'll blog about it when somebody gets it right . . .

Going with Africa.

I was thinking Africa as well--but I couldn't begin guessing a country in Africa. Maybe South Africa??

It does look like there is some Aloe Vera in the background. Where does that bloom?

*googles* Interesting. It says Aloe Vera blooms in Northern Africa. How about Egypt then, or western Sahara?

My guess is Australia.

Where ever it is, it's beautiful. I'm thinking Africa too. Serengeti??

I saw the aloe vera and that's why I guessed the southwestern US.

I hope somebody guesses soon cause I want to know where you went and hear all the details.

Oh. You wanted a country. The Serengeti is Tanzania, right?

If it's Africa, she could have been at Amboseli or Masai Mara in Kenya. The DH worked in Kenya once for 6 weeks. He said Nairobi was wretched, and he lived for the weekends when he and his co-workers would hire a car and go on photo safari. I hate I missed that trip.

My eyesight's not that good. At all. But if you click the picture, it makes it so much bigger. (Which I really enjoy when the pictures of the hunky son is posted on this site.)

So in big-picture, the aloe vera is very obvious.
